In the past, I have always had my guard up at veterinary offices because I felt as though veterinarians try to oversell their services, and get you to spend extraordinary amounts of money. Dr Hooykaas is the most trustworthy, honest, no nonsense vet I have ever had. I never question that he has my animal’s best interest in mind, and he has a very realistic approach. He is very friendly, approachable, knowledgeable, and straight forward. I’ve been driving 30 minutes to his office for over the past 8 years because the peace of mind I have going to him is worth it. We are extremely thrilled that Dr Hooykaas is opening his own practice in our hometown of Seal Beach. We will be taking our animals to him for as long as he practices veterinary medicine, simply because he is the best in the biz!

I had a feeling that Dr. Hooykaas was a wonderful veterinarian the first time I saw him at the clinic.
